IPR-INTAN: Transforming Agriculture
in Kota Marudu

A large-scale initiative dedicated to sustainable pineapple cultivation, supporting Malaysia’s agricultural economy.
Located in the Agropolitan Gana area of Kota Marudu, IPR-INTAN is a pioneering 500-acre MD2 Pineapple project in partnership with the Economic Ministry and Lembaga Industri Getah Sabah (LIGS). This project underscores our commitment to sustainable development and economic empowerment through large-scale pineapple cultivation.

Planting

Planting process constantly going on. Up to August 2024, total of 2, 700, 000 plants have been planted. An acre of land has the total of 15, 000 plants.

Weed & Pest Control

Weed control are done by manual, meanwhile pest and fungi control are done as recommended by appointed agronomists.

Fertilization

Fertilization process are done following the schedule provided by the appointed agronomists.

Forcing Programe

Forcing programe are implemented to 9-months old plantation blocks. This is to ensue synchronized flowering. This is followed by pos-forcing fertilization.
